The 2008 Foals are now 3-year olds! They are very friendly and curious. They are calm around cows, dogs, machinery and children. They are used to wading across running water, coming when called, being haltered, tied, led, handled, moved and sorted. They are in various stages of training; some have had 10+ months of training; some have starting with ground work, the rest are all ready to get serious about training...
Stop by and get to know their different personalities and find the best fit for your barn, and begin the fall working with your three-year old! For those who fall in love with a horse that still needs further training, we can also send them for 30+ days of training to ride or drive, with a contract and deposit.

Dude is friendly, easy to handle, classy with elegant carriage and movement. He is easy to keep and used to both pasture and box stall. Dude comes when called and is well broke to lead and tie. Dude likes company and is good with young horses, ponies, dogs and cats. He has also made friends with a couple deer that hang around his pasture. (He has not been ridden in years and should not be considered broke to ride or drive.)
His babies carry his traits and have been much sought after. Dude is UTD with worming and is good for the farrier. Due to age Dude periodically has his teeth floated.
With a contract and deposit, we can help arrange transportation or send him for 30 days of ground work. Buyers are encouraged to have vet and soundness checks at their expense.

Dream is a yearling Quarter Horse Filly with a compromised immune system. Dream is only about half the size of a "normal" Quarter Horse yearling and is on supplemental feed. She is slow to heal and gets infections easily. Her vet has recommended against vaccinating, so she could not be in a stable with horses that come and go from shows or trail rides where they are exposed to other horses.
Dream is a sweet girl and very friendly. She has been well-loved since the day she was born. Dream, in turn, loves attention and people.
She needs a home where she can have closer supervision. Approved Home Only - would like to come visit.

Foxfire is a 19-year old, retired, Quarter Horse brood mare who has not been broken to ride. She is blind on the left side and has a mild case of founder. She is good for the farrier. She is easy to handle if you talk to her constantly and let her know where you are. She likes to have a horse or pony friend to follow. Her last foal, in 2009, was healthy and without complications. Her present pasture is a little steep for the old girl, and a spring broke out in the only good place for her to get up the hill. Approved Home Only - would like to come visit. |
