A very interesting, free, resource we use is the All Breed Data Base. Each listing goes back 5-generations, however if you click on any horse on the pedigree, you will get a complete 5-generation pedigree for that horse, as far back as it has been registered in this data base. With a paid subscription you can find out even more about the horses you are interested in, create pedigrees for hypothetical matings, print a pedigree going back 9 generations and much more.
For instance, through the free features on the fabulous All Breed Data Base, our Duster Dolly Jack can be traced back to the famous Man O War (Sire of Triple Crown winner War Admiral and grandsire of Seabiscuit), through War Bird (5-generations back, granddams on her sire's side). It is a fascinating way to research your horse's lineage.
